Edge support, that is. If you habitually cling to the edge of the mattress while you sleep, or perch on the side in the morning, you might have noticed that some mattresses – particularly those that are only made with foam – can dip there. That’s why the Simba Hybrid® Mattress has 360° support, which we call Edge Lift.
How does Edge Lift work?
The Simba Hybrid® Mattress isn’t a simple stack of foam – you know, the kind that can feel hot and sinky over time. Instead, the five layers are each designed to offer a specific benefit, whether it’s specially designed springs for pressure relief, Simbatex open cell foam for cooling comfort or the high density foam support base. They work in harmony with each other and with you – which is why we believe our suits 95% of sleepers.
Our Edge Lift technology actually comes into play around our layers, rather than between them. It’s an all-round hug from high density foam, meaning however you lie or sit on your bed you can experience Simba support from corner to corner.
Give it a spin
We’ve always had the confidence in our mattress to offer you a 100 night trial and feel the benefits of innovations like our springs, Simbatex and Edge Lift. But that’s not the only spin you should remember. Rotating your mattress on a regular basis is one of the best ways to keep it in tip top shape and avoid uneven wear, which is why it’s one of the only conditions of our ten year guarantee.
Think of it as the ‘no flipping way’. You just rotate the mattress on its base once a month until your trial is over, then at least twice a year from then on. And speaking of keeping things in great condition, we’d really recommend popping on a mattress protector (though you can unzip the top cover and pop it in the washing machine).
Currently sleeping on a deeply dippy mattress? Maybe it’s time for an upgrade.
